The 2008 Sustainable Style Show

This landmark event raised consumer awareness around fairly traded, locally and ethically produced products, as well as those made from sustainable materials. With the rise of environmental consciousness, we have witnessed an increased effort to make smarter shopping choices, yet "greenwashing" has created confusion around what is truly sustainable.

The 2008 Green Gala

The 2008 Green Gala once again featured 10 of Canada's top fashion designers, each working with sustainable fabrics to create three stunning garments.

The 2007 Green Gala

The inaugural Green Gala was held at Evergreen Brick Works and was the first green fashion event to feature 10 of Canada's top designers working with sustainable fabrics. It was also the first fashion show of this scale to feature a sod runway, LED lighting, and clean energy. Thus Canada's greenest fashion event was born.
