Term	Definition
Brominated fire retardants	Chemicals known as PBDE’s used in commercial products such as mattresses, couches and other house household items. They have the tendency to accumulate in human and animal tissue and are considered toxic by Environment Canada. (Dominic Muren, Green's not Black and White )
