The Green Living Show is Canada's largest consumer show that attracts thousands of eco-conscious consumers. The Green Toronto Awards are held during the Green Living Show, recognizing Toronto based organizations who are leading the way in a number of Environmental categories. The Awards are produced by the City of Toronto. The Green Jobs Forum offers new graduates, students, and the general public an in-depth exploration of careers in the ever expanding Green economy.
Our booth at the 2011 and 2012 Green Living Shows featured many of our members' fabulous sustainable designs. In addition, we produced the Main Stage Fashion Show which was a standing room only event both years!
FTA was a finalist in the 2012 Green Toronto Awards in the category of Environmental Awareness.
We participated in the inaugural Green Jobs Forum as a Promotional Partner, helping to spread awareness for this great event. It's a great opportunity for FTA to spread the word about our work as many of the attendees did not realize just how devastating the fashion industry is when it comes to environmental and social impacts.
