Fashion Takes Action (FTA) is looking for a university student or recent graduate to join our team this summer and help bring our sustainability programs to life online.

If you love social media, storytelling, digital content, and sustainability, this role offers the opportunity to create content, engage online communities, and support communications for programs that are helping transform the fashion industry.

You’ll work with our communications team to support campaigns, newsletters, and social media for initiatives like Love Your Clothes, ReMode, and our youth education programs.

What You’ll Do

Social Media

  • Help plan and schedule weekly social media content

  • Engage with our online community (comments, messages, discussions)

  • Research trends and help create content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn

  • Assist with short-form video content including trend research, scripting, filming, and editing

Content & Communications

  • Support the creation of FTA newsletters and digital communications

  • Research content ideas and help gather stories and resources

  • Assist with blog content development and fact-checking

Website & Digital Content

  • Help keep website content and resources up to date

  • Support SEO improvements and digital content optimization

  • Assist with posting and formatting blog content in Squarespace

Audience & CRM Support

  • Assist with organizing and segmenting audiences across FTA programs

  • Support implementation and organization of a new CRM system

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is:

  • Bilingual; fluent in English and French

  • A university student or recent graduate in communications, marketing, media, or a related field

  • Passionate about sustainable fashion, climate, or social impact

  • Creative and comfortable creating digital content

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks

  • Familiar with social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn

  • Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, Canva, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, and Squarespace

Experience with short-form video editing, newsletter platforms, or digital analytics is an asset.
