Caleigh Smith is the Education Coordinator for the My Clothes My World Program, for which she develops lesson plans that engage Canadian youth on climate change and sustainability through fashion. She has over 5 years of experience designing and delivering sustainability-focused education programs on topics such as food systems, sustainable fashion and youth leadership. Caleigh is passionate about crafting learning experiences that invite students to ask new questions about how they can advance sustainable change in their communities. 

Caleigh holds a Masters in Design from Concordia University and a Bachelors in Communications and Environmental Studies from Simon Fraser University.

Caleigh’s background in sustainability and design are both big parts of who she is. As an avid sewer and designer, she is passionate about bringing the creativity and out-of the box thinking enabled through artistic practice to how she approaches sustainable fashion education, and how she thinks about sustainability transitions.
