Lauren Rapley is the Program Coordinator at Fashion Takes Action. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Marketing from Concordia University.

With experience spanning research, marketing, and communications, Lauren is passionate about connecting sustainability and commerce to foster ethical business practices. Her previous work in nonprofit organizations focused on advancing sustainability initiatives in agriculture and international policy, helping foster more responsible and equitable systems.

Throughout her academics, Lauren has been committed to making sustainability engaging and accessible for students and communities alike. From organizing panels to planning markets and clothing swaps, she enjoys creating spaces that encourage conversation, collaboration, and action.

Beyond her passion for responsible fashion, Lauren is deeply interested in urban ecology and the relationship between people and green spaces. Outside of work, she spends much of her time outdoors in city parks, often hosting community clothing sales with friends.k
