Anaëlle Nedelec

Founder of Unel

Anaëlle Nedelec is the founder of Unel, a nonprofit organization that raises awareness about textile waste and promotes creative reuse through upcycling workshops, repair events, and educational programming. With a background in engineering, Anaëlle brings a systems-thinking approach to social and environmental challenges, allowing her to design and optimize small-scale textile production that is both efficient and meaningful. At Unel, she combines community engagement with the creation of unique, upcycled textile pieces — from heat packs to custom accessories — all made locally with care. Anaëlle is also a trained facilitator of the « Fresque du Textile » a collaborative workshop that highlights the social and environmental impacts of the fashion industry. She is passionate about helping people reconnect with their clothes, their skills, and each other.
