Montreal

October 4, 2026 | 11-5PM

ReMode Montreal will be taking place on Sunday, October 4th to kick off Circular Economy Month! This year’s event will be held at Maison France-Montréal. Come learn how to keep your clothes in use for as long as possible through the 7Rs of Fashion

Fashion Takes Action launched ReMode in Toronto in 2023. For four years this Circular Fashion Festival has been shining a spotlight on the #nonewclothes movement and providing a forum for activities that help reduce our collective fashion footprint. We are thrilled that ReMode is returning to Montreal for a second year!

ReMode is free to attend! Stay tuned for registration details coming soon!

We feature an array of businesses in our ReMode: Marketplace focused solely on reuse, resale, repurposing, rental and repair.

Clothing Swap

The most sustainable piece of clothing is the one already in your closet…or in someone else’s. We wear 20% of the clothes we own, 80% of the time. So if there are items that you know you won’t wear, or that don’t fit anymore, a clothing swap is the perfect way to share them with someone else, and find new pieces for yourself.

We’ve got exciting plans for this year’s clothing swap. Stay tuned!

Last year, our Montreal swap resulted in…

  • 580

items of clothing diverted from landfill

  • 363

    items swapped

  • 217

    items donated

  • 290

    kg of diverted textiles

The Venue

Nestled in the heart of Montreal, Maison France-Montréal's historic and storied space offers the perfect backdrop to inspire meaningful connections and bold conversations. Founded in 1886, this landmark venue has long been a place where cultures meet, ideas are exchanged, and community is built — making it an ideal setting to gather, reflect, and move forward together.
