Montreal

September 28, 2025

ReMode Montreal will be taking place on Sunday, September 28th at Society for Arts and Technology (SAT). Come learn how to keep your clothes in use for as long as possible through the 7Rs of Fashion

Fashion Takes Action launched ReMode in Toronto in 2023. For three years this Circular Fashion Festival has been shining a spotlight on the #nonewclothes movement and providing a forum for activities that help reduce our collective fashion footprint. Now, ReMode is coming to Montreal!

Vendor Marketplace

We feature an array of businesses in our ReMode: Marketplace focused solely on reuse, resale, repurposing, rental and repair. Introducing our 2025 vendors:

Clothing Swap

The most sustainable piece of clothing is the one already in your closet…or in someone else’s. We wear 20% of the clothes we own, 80% of the time. So if there are items that you know you won’t wear, or that don’t fit anymore, a clothing swap is the perfect way to share them with someone else, and find new pieces for yourself.

Swap Information

  • You can drop off up to 10 pieces of gently worn pieces.

  • Event & swap drop off starts at 12PM, and the swap opens at 1PM.

  • Early swap drop offs will be announced soon.

This year, our Toronto swap resulted in…

  • 890

items of clothing diverted from landfill

  • 670

    items swapped

  • 220

    items donated

  • 445

    kg of diverted textiles
