Tereska is cofounder of Core Fabrics, a local online fabric store dedicated to sustainable and deadstock fabrics. She co-founded the company with Heather Lou around a shared conviction that home sewing and small-scale garment production offer a viable answer to fast fashion but only if makers have access to high-quality, ecoresponsible fabrics alongside its sister company, Closet Core Patterns.

Core Fabrics is Tereska's second company; her first was in urban agriculture, an earlier version of the same interest in building local alternatives to industrial supply chains.
